Are t8 fluorescent uvb lamps worth it?

I have heard conflicting things about this UVB lamp. It is a tropical long fixture with a long tube bulb. On the packaging, it says T8 Fluorescent but I don't know much about it or lights in general. If not what are better uvb options?

It is not a matter of is it worth it or not. At the correct distances and using a 10.0 bulb you can achieve what you need from a T8. But the T5HO fixture with bulb is brighter. The UVB output is stronger. So you use a 5.0 bulb with a T5 and you have to have your basking distance a full 9 inches down.
