there were some bees buzzing today and i was considering getting some for my cham. i was going to remove the stinger, but i started thinking about which wild caught bugs are safer.

it seems to me that the bugs that mainly eat plants would be less riddled with parasites than the scavengers. thoughts?

I don't know but I think nature needs all the live bees right now. I keep hearing about a horrible dive in bee populations and scientist don't know why (they want to say it's possible green-house affect, but they don't know).

Generally speaking, its best to avoid really brightly colored bugs. Vivid colors in the insect world tend to advertise potential toxidity.
