Are Schefflera Amate plants toxic to chameleons?

I have read many conflicting reports that the Schefflera Amate plants are both toxic and non-toxic to chameleons if digested. Can anyone tell me for sure if this plant would be ok to use in my panther cage?

some umbrella plants are toxic.
If they were placed in a veiled cage they could be toxic.
veileds can and do eat a lot of plant material.
Your safest bet would be a schefflera arboricola.
