Are Orchids safe?

I'm looking to add some color to my panther chams cage. I don't have much direct sunlight on the cage though, and the humidity is (obviously) kept high for my cham. I read that Orchids can thrive without much sunlight and can also do well in High humidity. Are they safe for chams? Or what are some other plants (other than hibiscus) that would fit well for my situation?

I did a search on here the other day when I was going to the garden center and found an old post that said orchids were fine so I bought a couple to stick in mine

Orchids are safe for chams but chams are hard on the flower portion of the orchid. Expect to replace the flower portion with silk if you want to have the blooms. Avoid silk flowers if your cham is a veiled.
