Are his eyes sunken in?

I just held him for the first time ever today and got to really look at him, and I noticed his eyes were a little sunken in. Is it just me or could there be something wrong? I'm new to the forum, he is about 5 months and is male ambilobe.

Thank you,

Alex

Sometimes they pull their eyes in a little if they are stressed. That may be what he's doing. He looks good. How are his urates? Are they white? Extra misting is always good.

Just look at them. His poop is in 2 parts: the urate (should be white) and the brown part (poop). If he is dehydrated a little of his urate may be yellow or orange. A tiny bit of yellow at the tip is ok. If it's not white, up his mistings or/and add a dripper.

They can also get a little sunken looking in when they are about to shed.

Hello, my cham is shedding, and his eyes look sunken. They also did a little bit before he started to shed.
