Arcadia lumenize led review?

Hey everyone,
Just trying to put some of the final touches on a new build and lighting is killing me šŸ˜‚. I’ve been looking at the Arcadia lumenize led light for the plants and lighting the cage up but I can’t find any info on it at all. Any one have experience on longevity, quality, etc?

I’m coming from fresh and saltwater but also had a grow set up a couple years back. So I’ve had experience in led lights but salt and grow always seem to have Info on the drivers, led brand and all that jazz. Does any one know what drivers these lights use or brand leds?

There’s a guy who makes very nice light bars for salt and growing coral and he uses great parts but they are not app control and only come with a dimmer. I’m leaning towards him since he has a daylight set up and that will most definitely grow plants and lighting the enclosure.

Thank you for any help!

Keith

I think you should talk to Todd @ Light Your Reptiles. Todd is the authority about Arcadia lighting in the USA. Google him.

From my research, the Arcadia lumenize LED is just a fantasy jungle dawn with an app. If you're into making everything fully automated with an app to make it dim and whatnot, then it's for you. If you don't care about dimming and an app, stick with the jungle dawn and save money. šŸ™‚

My wife and I recently purchased the Arcadia Luminize, T5 6%, and, Jungle Dawn LED light bar for our Ambilobe Panthers.

Linked them with the link cable and set it up on the Bluetooth app.

The wife and I don't have a TV (personal choice we made 7 years ago, to get rid of it) so we sit and watch the lights turn on "sunrise" in the AM and watch the "sunset" in the PM.

Also, the T5 we only have set to 67% (we also bought a light meter) so the minimal extra money we shelled out for the Arcadia Luminize system will pay its self off, as the T5 should not need to be changed for a while, from my research 2+ years. Only had mine for a few weeks so I cannot confirm the longevity.

We think the ramp down, and, the ramp up for the plants and Chameleons is a nice touch, and, helps mimick nature just a little bit more than a direct on and off. We figured there has to be some husbandry advantages there for the chaneleons, and plants as well.

We purchased both lights (T5 and LED) as 48" for the two enclosures (24"x24"x48"). Looking back now... The only thing I would change now is.... Split up the T5, as it would have been easier to adjust those separately for each enclosure.

So, if you want a 48", T5 6%, light and ballast... Let me know, I have one I can sell ya🤣🤣

Hope this helped.

Hey thank you all, love the feed back. I agree I love the option to be able to control everything, helps with my type A personality lol. I ended up ordering lights for one cage and since ill
Hopefully be going with 2 that are 2x2x4 if I can ever get them to send them. I did go with the lumineze pair for each individual cage or I would definitely go with the 48ā€ from you lol.
