Arcadia bulb vs reptisun

There are some Arcadia bulbs on sale in the supplies section under classifieds and they're good for plants too and supposedly last longer than reptisun. Has anyone used both - how do they compare? Or if you've used Arcadia, do you like them? Do they do last longer and help with plants? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

No uv bulb will be great for plants as uv rays burn the plants if they are too close to the bulb. The arcadia bulbs last 12 months which is loger than reptisun I believe.

If you are looking for great plant lights, Todd at LYR also has some LED lights in the 5.5 -7.5 color range and they are great for the plants. I have two 0f the 46" on my large cages for the panthers and veiled and the plants go nuts.

+1 more for Todd @ LightYourReptiles.com. Arcadia Reptile takes their lights very seriously and produce a great product - they last 12 months.

I have always used reptisun on my reptiles, however... I just ordered a 48" Arcadia 12% t8 friday. I will be giving it a go and if I like it will be replacing the other reptisun.
