Aquarium hood

Does anyone know is there any difference from a t8 reptile hood and a standard t8 aquarium hood? I’m just using an old t8 aquarium hood with a reptisun 5.0 bulb in it. I assumed that is the same but wanted to make sure?

Don’t know but pretty sure the fixture doesn’t matter, only the bulb. Are you using the actual aquarium to house your Cham as well?

No, he’s in a repribreeze xl. The aquarium fixture just sits on top.

No difference at all in the hood. Assuming the reflectors are good a T8 is a T8 and just a size measurement.
