Appetite booster???

Can someone please recommend an appetite booster for a young panther cham?
Please don't just mention something you have read about, but not personally used.
I need experienced recommendations please :)

I've had good luck with Reptaid. If you are using it for a baby, probably need to dilute it. I've tried various vitamin B based appetite stimulants with poor results. Low appetite is usually a result of an underlying condition, like coccidia.

I'm no vet, so you might consider seeing one.

Thanks Mike, but did you know that reptaid is alcohol based?

I found that out from Bruce at chameleon paradise.

Alcohol is very bad for your cham :(

He told me it does boost the chams for a short time, but is actually very harmful for them.
I threw my bottle in the trash after he told me this.

Can you think of anything else you have tried that works?

Yes, I know there could be a symptom of something, but he does eat, just takes his sweet time picking them off slowly.
He loves silkies and supers, and will dig into those.
His poops look normal most of the time, as does his urates.

So, at this point, I would not know what to tell the vet, there is nothing I can really put my finger on.

When I dump cricks in the feeders for my other guyz, they dig into them. But peanut just stares at them, and will pick
them off here and there over time.
He is 6 months old, and very small for his age, but he is active, and doesn't have any of the sympoms of having parasites or
any sort of infection.

I like to use flies or silkworms depending on the size of the cham. Have you tried a little mantis? Works about 95% of the time. Every couple clutches, I get a little guy/girl who just refuses to grow. But then after a couple months, they shoot like a weed. Nature is fickle witch.

Yes, because the constituents won't suspend in water. Due to the low dosage, I've never worried about it. I've used it only a couple of times on WC. I'd certainly consider it safer than flagyl, but not as effective.
