Anyone with Schefflera plant?

Hi just bought a schefflera plant and the bottom trunk starts off brown/grey then turns to green. My question is around the bottom moving on up there are small bums with discoloration around them didnt know if this was normal or not.

its perfectly normal the soil was justa little dry previousely...or its producing a new branch.

Thanks also was wondering about the small spots all over the bottom moving up. Didnt know if it was bugs.

haha she just takes a couple bites out of a leaf per day... probably 2 or 3 bites of the plant each day... is that okay???

Probably fine Modkrew. Yeahbuddy, run your fingers over the bumps, do they move? if they do theyre bugs, if not they are new branches forming.
