My 4 month old Bishop has (possibly had) coccidia. He looks and weights (9g) nothing like a 4 month veiled should. He looks more like 2-2.5 months. He had his treatment at the hospital where he had to stay overnight. When he came back, he had to be moved to a quarantine enclosure. Unsurprisingly he wasn't impressed and has been hiding since. I don't see him bask or come out of the hiding spot for that matter. It doesn't seem like he is eating either. He is always dark and terrified. I covered his enclosure, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. He keeps hiding.
The vet said 'encourage him to eat'.. I'm not sure how can I do it. If i try to cup feed, he just freezes and stares at me until I leave. He doesn't hunt either. I have reptoboost, but he gets terrified if I take him out, and I would have to force his mouth open which would stress the hell out of him.
I don't know what else can I do. Any advice? Personal experience? Anything? I'm getting desperate.
