Anyone run T5HO's?

Does anyone use T5HO UV fixtures for their chams? If so what type of fixture and bulbs do you use and what size is your cage? Also, what kind of results are you getting?

I have a zoomed 24" T5HO fixture with a 5.0 bulb over an LLL 2x2x4 cage. I do not have my panther yet, so I cannot report results. However, the cage seems a little dim. I am considering returning upgrading to one of the dual T5HO fixtures that zoomed makes for reef aquariums, and running the same 5.0 UVB bulb and a regular 6500k bulb both for ambient light for viewing and to help out the plants.

Many keepers are switching over to t5ho, with good results too.

I love them, brighter light, and longer lasting bulbs

Im running a 24" arcadia and a 24" utrasun(fresh water full spectrum fish, no uv). And its real bright compared to my old single 24" repisun. Also rockin the zoomed aquarium t5 HO hood with reflector.

I have a double T5HO fixture with Arcadia 6% and Arcadia plant pros. The UVb bulbs last longer and my plants are very healthy as well. It is brighter, but its not drastically brighter than the Arcadia I had previous to the T5HO. My boys are healthy so it seems to be a good investment.

The 24" dual fixture on there that comes with one arcadia 6% and one 6500k is about the same cost of buying the zoo med fixture and the bulbs separately. However, the reflector design of the zoo med seems a lot better to me.

As in a 4 bulb fixture over one cage? That isn't too much? What type of bulbs and how many of each are you using in there?

I too am curious about the effects of a 4 bulb fixture. I know it would be great for my plants. Does anyone have experience on the effect to the chameleon?
