Anyone know what this butter lid with holes is for?

Hello,
I just upgraded my cage and got one second hand. It came with this butter lid with holes in it but I have no idea what it is for. I was about to take it out but thought it might be used for the dripper?

Looks like it's for feeders, roaches or superworms. The holes are for drainage so water doesn't collect in there and drown them.

The amount of time it would have taken to level it, and the mental capacity of the feeder to not overcome 1/4" lip...

Maybe it was a vieled fruit basket?

If you use it for one roach at a time it would work out fine. The holes for drainage so you don't have to remove it every day is a good idea. Why would you go through the "amount of time to level it" if it's going to hold fruit?

I'm sure you can use it for whatever you want. I'm sure it's for a food source regardless.
