I just saw one of these at a local reptile shop in Ofallon Ill. Its was really unqiue to look at. He basicly told me it was a lower temp chameleon and very hard to keep if temps got abaove 70-75 degrees.

Anyone have any? Post up some pics they are really neat looking !!!

I haven't had any for a few years now...but I didn't find it any more difficult to keep than a dwarf Jackson's. They can tolerate higher temperatures as long as its not for too long and as long as they are well watered.

Here you go.

THis is why I have to make a transition, I will have a totally different set up which is going to be top notch with misting/drainage sys. Everything i want to work with has very high water and humidity requirements and wont be so forgiving if it drops a little low for them once in a while. You can almost bet he is WC too. I will be taking my time with everything too so get a hold of me in 2 or so years and we will see if I have a quad baby for ya:rolleyes:

Chuck! you hatched out some quads didnt you?

Those are a pair of Quadricornis Gracilior and I had 2 clutches out of that pair.

I know it was a while ago when you posted this but we have 2.2 Quadricornis Quadricornis and as long as you keep them hydrated and at low temps they do great. We have already hatched one clutch and have 24 more eggs waiting to hatch. We have the babies now and they are growing and eating like crazy. We have had numerous cham species and even though these are not the most colorful, they are wonderful to have. We have ours in the house with UV lighting, lots of foliage, live plants and climbing vines along with a repti fogger that is on all the time to keep them hydrated. We have had extremely good luck with them and if you have the ability to keep them cool and moist then they are a species worth having!

I don't know a lot about quads yet, but I sue am learning! I just adopted one. She is very shy so I haven't taken any pictures yet but think I will tomorrow. I already love her!!:) She arrived Wednesday so I am letting her get settled. She is eating and drinking. I am not sure about pooping as there are so many plant locations where she could do it. But hey what goes in must come out right? Look for her tomorrow on a picture thread.

Good luck with her, just remember to keep her hydrated and her temps lower and lots of places to feel secure (hide). We have a new female that is young and she is by herself, she is really shy and I wasn't sure she was eating for the past few days as we just got her last week, however I dusted some crickets and put a few in her cage and turned off her UV and left an overhead light on so she could still see, then I sat on the floor away from her and I saw her eat. She is a closet eater I guess and doesn't like eating in the open, weird becuase our males eat 6 or 7 crickets as soon as you put them in, in fact my hand is in their cage and their tongues are shooting out around me.
