I've put a sheet of corrugated plastic down the back and my humidity's been at 60% no probs heat obviously varies from top to bottom but he's happy in there
In the winter they can be a pain to keep temps as anywhere below basking site will be what your ambient room temperature is+the humidity can drop if the central heating is on all the time, this can be corrected by covering the sides in plastic as said, I also have raised all my chameleons in glass exo's before they outgrew them with no stress issues.
Yeah I did have mine in a glass exo it's only the last couple weeks he started getting stressed so I'm not sure if it was reflection or size of the tank but anyways as you can see from my pic he's got loads of room now

Where did you get the corrugated plastic from? I am moving Monty into his bigger Reptibreeze soon and was going to use clear plastic to line the back. Also, how did you fix it in there?
Got it of my mate he dun a pub clearance but I see it in home base yesterday and all I done was cut it in to shape then used black masking tape to hold it in place then got a big waterproof tray at the bottom to capture all the water that runs down off

You can get a sheet of 4' x 2' clear plastic sheet from most of the big DIY chains, certainly Homebase. I have a sheet on the back of an xl reptibreeze that is held on with velcro so that I can easily remove it. It would be just as easy to add/remove a sheet to one or more of the sides to help with temps and humidity. Pic below.
