Anyone from Washington State?

Hi everybody! I was just wondering if any members are from Washington State? Feeling lonely out here in the northwest. In all seriousness though-I don't feel like there are that many of us out here compared to the east coast. Also, If you are from WA, do you know of some good reptile stores? I mostly have Petco and PetSmart which I can get an occasional bulb but nothing really reptile specific.

East coaster creeping on your thread! 😅

There are two or three big time Chameleon Keeper from the American Northwest. One Chameleon Forums member "Garrett" a Calumma parsonii parsonii breeder Garrett Smith used to be a regular to this site. I am actually wondering how Garrett is doing these days. Then there is Doug Dix a Trioceros deremensis breeder whom I have not heard from for about a decade now. Plus there is a Kinyongia Breeder John Fischer (I am recalling his name right). Then Dennis Fitzgerald who had a greenhouse from back in the CIN days.

Best Regards

I’m near Seattle, where are you?

est really is. Hope a few more WA folks chime in with store suggestions.I'm just over the border in Boise, so not Washington, but I get the frustration of thin local options. For the bulb runs, ordering online in bulk has saved me more than one trip, and it's worth checking whether any Seattle-area herp society or local club lists independent shops—those often carry more than the big-box chains. The Canada poster seeing Port Angeles lights is a nice reminder of how close the northw

Denver here, so I can't vouch for Washington stores myself, but the Boise poster's point about herp society and club lists rings true—those smaller regional groups often know independent shops the chains don't. For the southeast Florida greeting, that's a long way from the Port Angeles lights the Canada poster mentioned; funny how this thread spans both coasts. Charlotte, just reading along and picking up ideas for when I'm traveling that way.
