Anyone breed beardeds?

Wondering what the best month to breed them would be. I got my male last April and a month or two later i put him with my biggest female, who only laid one clutch last year and it was before they mated. I noticed he has been trying more than usual to get her attention from across the room and she has been moving around more as well.

Under normal conditions, it is breeding season for beardies. Mine have been breeding already this season and have over 200 eggs already.

what the frick are you going to do with 200 beardies? how do you find homes for them all?

That is just the start. I should get another 300 to 400 eggs this season. Fortunately, I have no problem selling them.

It is breeding time but you can breed anytime you wish with a few tricks. Heres pic actually from today. He has my signature move.

LOL man thats disappointing huh. It never fails the ones i always want are males too! So at the moment i am _SS backwards have more males than females but that wont be for to long :)

Just picked a female i bred a few years ago for a friend. She threw out some of the most amazing babies i have laid eyes on. Absolutely disgusted with him though. She dont even look like the same dragon anymore.

Bump, should I pair my male with the female more than once or should the one time be enough? My oldest female can see the male and she has been going NUTS these last few days, even more than him...

Sorry to hijack but do females just lay eggs whether or not they've been mated like what chams ? And at what age do they ? And what conditions need to be for them to lay eggs ?

Need to bump this. So I finally had some time to get my two dragons together the first time this year the other day. My male Marcus failed..... I put him in the tank with the female and he bobbed his head violently jumped on her attempted to bite her neck and when she struggled against him he stopped? He tried this several times and then i just separated them after multiple failed attempts. Today the same thing happened except i let them loose in my room. Why cant he get the job done lmao? He is at least over 2 probably even older and Jericho (my female) is going to turn 5 in seven days. Does the male HAVE to be bigger than the female for successful breeding, because he is smaller than she is. He can't seem to hold her arms down and she just gets away from him and he lets go for a while.
