Anyone able to find plastic coated 1/8" screen?

I did a search, but the threads I found were very old - hoping someone might have recently found a source...
I found reasonably priced rolls of 1/8" on eBay - galvanized steel, IIRC - definitely not plastic coated. I'm liking the strength & durability of the 1/8" stuff over regular window screen, in case a cat accidentally gets into the reptile room or bedroom, or if we decide to try putting the chams outside when the weather is nice. But I'm worried it would be hard on their toes.
HD & Lowes have "charcoal" aluminum window screen, and black can be ordered - but no info about what they put on it to color it, so I'm thinking it's some kind of paint. May be softer on the toes, but... we have a glass aquarium with a top that looks like the same kind of screen, and the black is coming off in places, so I'm worried they might ingest it.

...chams are a wild caught pair of furcifur oustaleti & a bred pair of jacksonii xantholophus. Planning on a 48x24x48" wood frame screen enclosure for each. May first try keeping them in pairs, since the guy we got the Jackson's from said they'd been together their whole lives, and the Bartlett Chameleon book says that oustalets are usually found in pairs in the wild

Thanks - been a fan of Grainger for many years!
1/4" might work for the oustalets if I use really big crickets, but I'm thinking the smaller crickets the Jacksons eat would get out - they're currently about 3.5 to 4" body length, oustalets are about 6-7"

At least you know it exists. Hopeful someone has it in shorter rolls. I was looking for something for outdoor cages. I don't need a quarter mile either.
