Anybody do this with roach feeding?

I got the idea from another member here. For my chams that hate dubia, I offer a superworm, allow them to chew it and while opening their mouth i pop a dubia in and they chomp down and eat it. 2 of my chams take to it very easily and don't seem to mind, but my female panther and 1 Male get upset over it so I don't bother them as much. My one Male hates roaches yo the point he will chew them up and spit them back out. Only ever seen him do that. Overall though it works pretty well most of the time with minimal stress.

Have not done that, but will keep that in mind if I need to. Thanks for the info. I am switching to orange heads and BSFL (with other critters to round out diet) as my base so hopefully I won't need to force dubias.

@NickTide I just have so many dubias it's nice for feeding some off once and awhile.
I feel ya. If you have a locally owned pet shop, they might be interested in buying your surplus. I know the last local shop in our area will give more in credit than in cash. For now my one cham will always eat them and the other goes through streaks that shoe wont eat them. I am lucky... for now.

That's a great idea actually. I have tons of hisser nymphs too among others. I have like 14 feeders lol. My Parsons will take a dubia 1-2x a week, but my Panthers usually hate them. Though my one was eating them right out of the cup about a month ago, but now he's back to being super picky. It seems like their eating habits change with the seasons.
