Hello, i knwo i have posted before about this question... but this is it... the last chance... i waited for it to grow to see if something would tell me it is a male... but havent seen any signal... just that when i took it outside to the sun it showed a lot of blues and greens... but thats it...

When i first got him at the reptile store they said it was a male... but i was begining to think it was a female and you forum members comfirmed it, but well here it is again for any second thoughts...

It's a Nosy Be Panther Chameleon, it is around 3.5-4 months old, i really am not sure, they said that it was around 3 when i got him, but others said something else... and i know it looks a lot like a female... but is there ANY chance ANY it could be a male???

if it turns out to be a female im going to the reptile shop and change it...(it is a bit sad, but i really would like what i paid for)

P.D: Just today it started showing this pale color you see in the first pictures below... its almost always a bit dark gray, brownish... It has shed only once in my keeping and it was like 2 weeks and a half ago....

EDIT: Oh, and could you please give a guess in the age too please?? Thanks!

here are some pictures when i first got it

Females can definitely show colors, but they depend on their reproductive cycle. Here are a few of my female, Azura, who turned a year old on Valentine's day.

Receptive:

Gravid with an infertile clutch:

Not receptive but not gravid either:

I know it's not as flashy as a male, but they look so bright in person - these photos don't do her justice I think. I know they aren't for everyone, but I just wanted to show you photos in case you had a change of heart and decided to keep her :) People think they are just brown or something and don't know that they can be orange, pink, purple, etc.

sorry mate looks like a female to me :) in the same boat as me... eager awaiting Loki's first egg laying and fully prepared!!!
