20160514_194611.jpg I just installed a mister. The Monsoon RS400. I have a basking area with a temp of 90 degrees. I have a real hibiscus plant in there with some plastics. What do you think? The mister is set for 2 hours for 10 seconds long.

Looking pretty good! What kind of bulb do you have up top? Is that a powersun? If so, that makes sense why you don't have a separate basking bulb.
Also, I think your misting sessions are a bit short. I'd aim for at least 30 or so seconds. Some chameleons are slow to get drinking and they need the mist to clean out there eyes and such.

View attachment 158054 I have 2 month old female red panther. I'm a new owner. It's my first chameleon. Got it last week.
Cool! I'm hoping to get a female in a year or so, not necessarily to breed with my male, but just to have. I hear they can be real sweethearts in temperament.

Here's a great article for future reference, especially for when you'll need to set up a lay bin:

Your cage is awfully dark with just that bulb. As long as it is providing UVB you can use it. It is not the norm what people use though. I would use a low wattage bulb in the other dome to brighten up the cage.

My female panther is so cool. She goes places w me in the car. I know, everyone is gonna freak out but she's my baby girl and taps my nose w her nose. I take her to work and she walks all over my work table. She is great!
