Hey all,

Does anybody on here have any pictures of WC blue on blue Ambanjas? Or better yet, pictures in the wild of a blue on blue located in/close to Ambanja?

I'll try to get some more photo's of him later, but this is one of the WC Ambanja's we just received. His background is a light sky blue with dark blue bars that start to show red when he's not to happy. When he is calm it's usually solid blue.

This picture was taken right when we got him out of the bag and put him on a tree to calm down after his trip from Tiki Tiki, so his color's aren't as bright as they are now.

im really talking about the straight up B on B'z. They look like crazy solid Nosy Bes with bars. Just looking for somebody with info of what part of the location are they more in...

Your Ambanja looks like a typical Ambanja, I love him!

what turned me onto ambanjas was this website about the chameleon tour.

Go to the northern section and look at the one on the far right and he is from the Northern Ambanja. Still not that blue/blue but looks pretty awesome imo.

i am still curious about this amazing looking blue on blue Ambanja trend... where does the line(s) come from? honestly WC - CH?

ive seen plenty of blues with plenty of blue, but they normally show green, and some red with yellow lip.

but, some of these guys that are popping up are becoming more and more blue. amazing!!!

Selective breeding I'd say. If you look at Spiderman (where a lot of b/b are coming from) he's not blue on blue. Probably started with one blue on blue male then he mated and found a few females and then more came out of the clutch (probably similar to the transparent trait in veileds but not exactly)

I'm sure the spiderman clutch has a few blue / blue , blue / green, red / green, and whatever mixtures there could be.
