well, are there any LAX players on this forum. if so, do u play indoor, or field. what equipment do u have, and prefs about shafts, heads, gloves, stringing, etc.

WOW! Washington has their own team. the washington bayhawks. its a really popular sport in the north.

My dad played when he was growing up and really loved it. He was all-state and I think he was pretty darn good. He got me started when I was younger because lacrosse and football were the only two sports he knew to teach me ha. But like you said its much more popular up north( My dad is from PA) so there wasnt any leagues for me to participate in growin up. Just stuck to football. But I think its growing down south because my old highschool has a team now.

ive played field lacrosse and im trying to get back into arena lacrosse this season i have a aluminum shaft right now but prefer a wooden shaft and my pocket is somewhat in the middle to forward
kacy zaph ( night hawks) was my coach and Chris Driscoll ( toronto rock )was the coach for another team who both teach in toronto

its not hard at all. the only hard thing is getting reasonably priced equipment. im breakin my "bank" just buyin equipment. i have the brine King 2 CP legend Edition gloves, the warrior MPG 8.0 shoulder pads, STX shotgun elbow pads, a Brine triumph custom helmet, a STX crankshaft 10 degree titanium w/ a K18 head, and a custom stringing. lots of equipment. my fav team is the Long Island Lizards. GO NY!

noice! i dont have all the brand name equipment but my equipment works for all the punishment i got out on the field mainly stx but i was in the same boat as you when i was in school. too many hobbies not enough money

i get a nice allowance, but i make 40$ a hit when i string a lacrosse stick. i average one stringing a day. BTW, STX= bigtime brand, they make good stuff.

stx lacrosse shaft and head, kidney / spine protector and arm protectors
warrior soft arm protectors and some very well used linwood gloves i dono where my helmet went though prob buried in the garage somewhere
but nice ive tryed to string my stick but failed so i got zaph to do it for me

lacrosse is the official summer sport of Canada. Its a fantastic game!
Many in my family play, but I only watch. I prefer box to field.

in box, you can get some seriously quick shots off. i have a harrow hemi cuda box stick, and i get some shots off with that thing.
