Any Advice?

I want to make two larger screen cages. I really like JDog's video but since this is my first time attempting to make my own does anyone have any words of wisdom they would like to share?

Hello

I'm not sure on what size you are after, but I was debating with myself what would be easier/cheaper in the long run for 2 larger cages.

I decided on 2 24x24x48 reptibreeze cages and the size is just fine I have LLL Reptile Drainage trays coming, but other than that, they are fine as they are.

If you're looking to do something bigger.. sorry!!

Have a good plan, figure the cost, add 15% to that, and do a lot of homework before you build. Make sure that they will have everything you need and want! Most of all have fun!!! I wanted to build another one the second I finished the first .

You may want to check out Decadancin's gallery documenting his build. I learned a lot just scrolling through the pictures and the end product is fantastic.

There are tons of great ideas and price ranges! PM me if you have questions. Oh yeah, I noticed the cat and dogs. Make sure to use a good pet screen! My cats are more interested in the crickets, but I used a vinyl coated pet screen on the sides. This is not as easy to see through, though.

If you are in socal, I would just go to the reptile show this weekend and purchase a screen cage not fret over building it. Then again some people like to build them and I completely understand that too. I have found it's easier to buy them and well worth it.
