Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon -
Vieled cameleon, Male, approx 3 months old. Had him just over 2 weeks.
Handling -
I open the door to his cage and he more often than not comes out, so roughly daily.
Feeding -
He eats locust which are gut loaded on carrot, spring greens and some fruit. He eats between 8 and 16 medium sized aday with some baby meal worm or wax worm as a treat. He eats either from hand or by catching them from leaves about 3 times aday so 3 small meals each day.
Supplements -
Reptile minerals made by Beaphar, dusted locust once a week so far but only had him 2 weeks.
Watering -
I mist twice aday for about 2-3 minutes with warm water and also have a dripper going. Have seen him drink a few times but do worry he does not drink enough.
Fecal Description -
Poo is a dark brown with a white blob although first poo he did after I got him had a yellow blob which I believe is Bad !!!
Cage Info:
Cage Type -
3 x 2 x 2 screen cage.
Lighting -
He lives in doors (thanks to the great British weather) He has a 60w basking lamp and a 2ft UVB+A 5% tube. These are on a timer which comes on at 0630 and off at 2100. The basking temp is between 80 degrees and 90 degrees.
Plants -
A mixture of real and fake plants. The plants are a weeping fig and an umbrella plant.
Placement -
Located in a quiet corner with some traffic but he always appears happy (green) The cage is approx 2ft above floor level.
