Another shed so quickly?

My 5-6 month old veiled just finished his second shed (with me) a couple weeks or so ago. And today I noticed he's starting to shed again. Should I be concerned?

No. He will slow down once he stops growing. Now might be a good time to start cutting back his food if you haven't done so though

My panther chameleon has been shedding often as well. I purchased him 6/18/2011 at a little under 8 weeks old and he's already shed 3/4 times. His colors are starting to come through nicely now.

Careful with your veiled growing too quickly. I had a veiled that grew much to quick and in turn developed MBD even though I had him on a proper supplement schedule and he was in an outdoor enclosure getting sunlight 24/7. Unfortunately, soon after he became lethargic and stopped feeding on his owm and I had to force feed him the last couple months of his life before he passed away.

As babies they shed every month - once they get to around 6 months old growth slows right down (they never actually stop growing) and they shed every 3 months. As adults they will often she d different body parts at different times rather than the whole body shed that they do as babies. It may also take a couple of weeks as adults whereas babies will have a whole body shed in a matter of hours.
