Hi every one, my name is Anthony.

Im from England

I do not have yet any Chameleons but a few spiders, will be getting a Veiled Chameleon by the end of the week(about 3" long with tail rolled up, will also post pictures when i pick him up)

first off i want to make sure i got the right kit, this is what i have:

Exo Terra Flexarium

Glow Light Medium (21cm)

Repti Glo 5.0 Compact Lamp (26w)

Digital Thermo-Hygrometer

Ceramic Heat Emitter

Porcelain Wire Clamp Lamp (small)

Dripper (1 gallon)

is there any thing else that i could do with?
(sorry not yet set it all up yet, so cant really post a picture)

Plants - people say on here they like to use real plants, what
plants would you recommend that are easy enough to pick up from a garden centre and to look after?

Looks like a decent start. Might want to get a ceramic bulb holder and use an incandescent light for heat, it will also help provide a more natural range of the light spectrum.

As far as plants, I have a few ficus and some schleffera arbicola. Lots of cut branches and a few yards of fake bio vine and leaves.

here is a good link for plants that are safe: https://www.chameleonforums.com/plants/

Once you get the plants from the store there will have to be a few other steps before the plant is ready for the enclosure. Mainly making sure that the soil the plant is in contains no fertalizers etc as it would be very bad to get ingested for them.

dont use a compact ub bulb you need a long tube one. I now use 60-100watt spotlights. are you gettin it from a breeder or shop. im in england too!!!!
