So I was just on the mistking site and they have a special: buy any misting system and get a free rain attachment. Anyone have this attachment and how does it work? I'm about ready to order a misting system and I'm really torn between the aquazamp rain dome and this mistking with attachment. Ideas? Please and thx!

I have never heard a bad thing about either, though I only have a mist king(For now at least). If your a DIY'er, you can easily make a "rain dome" yourself w/ a large tupperware.

Yeah? How so??

1 large tupperware (I used a rubbermaid tall/skinny one),
Drill a hole the size of the misting nozzle on or near the top.
Place nozzle in hole and tighten.
Direct nozzle towards top of the container(From the inside)
Place on top of cage, hook up the system and WALA! RAINDOME!

Well if he gets the MK it will come with one:p Neat idea though, do you have pics?
I would order the system, and use the dome and nozzles.

You could use a tupperware to make a raindome without a system:)
Put lots of holes in the bottom of the tupperware, place on cage, fill with water:D;)

Ask and you shall receive!

The mist king rain dome is different. It raises the nozzle a couple inches above a screen top so the spray will drip through in multiple locations.

I was a bit angry when I saw him say that:mad::p

Thats a good idea, I may try that!
Does it just drip down the sides, or all over?

Well that particular rubbermaid is tall and skinny(when I made it i was using it for a small cage), so there is not much room for dripping elsewhere.. With a bigger one I am almost certain it would. But it works great, definitely gives the "rain effect" that the others do

Well see, what I have thought of doing, is running a MK line with holes in it, along the top of the cage. I may just try something like that though, I havnt tried my idea, because I think Id have to experiment alot with how many holes I could make, and not effect line pressure, and getting the holes angled down, and keeping it from pooling and such.

Thats a good idea, There is a member who made a drip system like that and had a video of it, cannot remember who tho.
