So I moved frankie (5 month veiled) into his new enclouser 2'x2'x4' LLLreptile screen. I use a chemical sprayer 3 times a day sometimes 2 times. For 4-5 min. He doesnt let me see him drink but I do sneak a peak. Other than that very friendly will eat insects and romaine lettuce out of my hand.

He still has a little orange tip on his poopies. For about a week since hes gotten into his new cage. The old one being glass he licked off the sides mostly now thats not so practical so clearly there's a grace period of figuring it out and settling. I also began utilizing my dripper.. sucked In the no drain glass..

I've heard of injecting feeders with water I feel that's much safer than squirting in the mouth..

So discuss please! :). Over hydration crickets wax worms are main. Wax being treats inject what how often how many again over hydrating possibilities being my main concern? Impossible?
Thank u wonderdul people.

I did search found some info not enough to satisfy my question

Why don't you let the dripper drip into a little pot of soil? Would be the easiest way to offer another source of water to your chameleon without having a drain in the cage.

If he ate lettuce out of your hand, maybe you may try cucumber, too. Or you may train him to drink from a syringe (without needle, of course) or a bottle.

P.S.: By the way, in my opinion an orange tip on the poop has nothing to do with dehydration. But that's another topic...
