What is the price range for Ankaramy Locale? Adult(2yrs) according to the store

Just curious... I saw one at a Pet shop yesterday.

The price tag said Nosy Faly $300.

But i know it's an Ankaramy

If its an adult and its in good shape and not beat up and not in need of alot of rehab. I'd say 300.00 is a great price. Theres not many of them around so they still sell pretty high.

I'd be kind of worried that it was listed as a faly though. Those two locales are nowhere near similar in appearance. Im guessing this must be a wc. How long has it been in the country and has it had any meds yet to deworm? If its already been cleared of parasites and its been in captivity for more than a few months I'd say go for it. If not, its still a good price but your going to have to invest more into him to clear him up and get him acclimated. So 300 is just a starting point your prob going to be putting another 100 into him for meds, fecals, and vet visit.

Thank You Scott, I was going to send you a PM with this info. It doesn't look like a Faly at all. Pinkish color all over, it looks in good health but i will take a closer look today.

Snap a pic if you can, I'd be curious to see it. Both locales are rare, I'd be surprised to see one in a pet store for so little.

I'd be scooping that up on a minute if it looks healthy and is for sure a male.. Maybe you can take it to a vet and have it checked out before you make the plunge and commit to purchasing it from the petstore. Just incase it has any MAJOR long term health problems..... I know that mechanics will have prices for a "inspection" before making a large vehicle purchase.
