i just talked to the owner of the pet store that sold me lokni. (i had lokni for 3 days before he died. he was sick when i took him home and i took him to the vet the next day.) he says they dont guarantee any of their animals and they are not at fault. they dont know what conditions i had kept him in, and that i shouldnt have taken him to the vet. he says i should have brought him back to the pet store when i noticed he was ill, and now that i've involved a veterinarian, they are completely not at fault. he says he doesnt know what the vet could have done to the little guy, it could have been why he died. therefore, he will not be doing anything to help me out, except offering me another chameleon.
...i dont want another chameleon. i wanted lokni. and i want them to take liability for their screw ups. they had him in a tiny glass aquarium with at least 10 other chams. i cant imagine they were keeping them all hydrated or fed as much as they should have. my other chameleon looks 10x better now that she's home with me. and why would i take him back to the pet store? so they could exchange him for another? i wanted my little guy healthy, so i took him to the dr. the vet gave him fluids and that's all. i dont think vets are out to kill their patients.
