angry when shedding?

my little Pascal has been very moody since just a few days ago. He use to come out on my hand (by his own choice) and I would take him to the window but now he freaks out any time I get close to his cage. Is it normal for chams to go through massive mood swings like that. Please help, any helpful advice is welcome.

He is almost a year old now, so maybe he's getting a little spunky!

They are so cute when they're feisty, but yeah I see a lot people are like "Wow my chameleon is such a sweetie, he's not like the rest!" but then they start to mature and that sweet timid angel is replaced with a confident little demon
