My friend has a nosy be panther chameleon:

5 months old
male
eats like crazy

gets really pissed when he wants get him out of the cage so the point he almost bites. What is the solution for something like this.

Possibly try hand-feeding, but In my opinion an aggressive chameleon is a healthy chameleon, (not saying a tame chameleon is not). Chameleons are not animals that are made to handle. My advice: admire the animal for what he is and dont stress him too much by trying to handle him.

My male veileds the same, same age too roughly, he is fine when he is on my hand, when i clean him out its the only time he gets a bit angry but once he is out he is fine. other than cleaning his viv out, i dont handle him as he obviously does not like it,i just accept thats the way he is,

I like it when they're agressive. It's easier to tell if something is wrong. Just don't bug him, problem solved. Use a stick to get him out when you/he NEED(s) to, not when he/you want to.

some chameleons are just that way and never change but the best you can do is slowly try and hand feed and if he gets good at that then try to lure him onto your arm. Just dont force anything or youll stress him out too much

No it's just he's almost never gonna be able to handle it or even touch it so it's almost ad of he has no chameleon. Super boring all he cam do is just look at it.. Still better than nothing but I'm just saying.

Out of my entire collection maybe 4 are handleable. You don't get into chameleons to cuddle with them!

Who said anything Bout cuddling.... You just can't touch them anymore that's all which is less fun than being able to... I don't know who cuddles with their chameleons because that's just weird.

Dude, it's not a dog. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to offend you, but you're seriously looking at keeping and raising chameleons in bassackwards way. Even if he could handle it and it wasn't aggressive, over handling can stress the animal to a point of death.

Sounds like your friend should have researched chameleons more. I see more aggressive ones the calm ones. Consider it a sign of it being healthy.

Look don't touch. The best physical interaction you can have with your chameleon as stated before is hand feeding.

Dogs like to be handled though!

Chameleons are like fish. Look dont touch! I guess you don't like fish because you cant touch them?

errrrr lol amusement to the first degree lol, but you have to understand you cannot play with a chameleon it will make then so scarred they will die. the chameleons only defence toward a predator is its camo and when you grab him he has no defence. the cham thinks of you as a predator your 100x bigger then he is. if your in the water with a tiger shark are you gonna be scared ? just my 2 cents

I'll take it, 50$.
It can then stay in a cage for 99% of it's life and be happy with no one constantly prodding it to play with it.

OMG where can I get a can of that Troll Spray?

Although I agree entirely that an aggressive chameleon is usually normal and healthy, if one needs to remove the chameleon on occassion (vet visit, major cage cleaning) there are some methods better than others. First "rule" is to move slowly. Often a chameleon is more aggressive when you are entering its territory (the cage) and a little less aggressive (though likely not less stressed) once outside it. If you can coax the chameleon onto a branch that you can remove from the cage, you're less likely to have troubles than handling the animal itself. Gloves can be worn as well, especially if its an emergency situation.

Generally speaking, chameleons are "look and dont touch" animals. If this wasnt what your friend wanted, its unfortunate he/she apparently didnt do the most basic of research. Perhaps he or she can give the chameleon to someone who will value it, and buy something else.

Today was the first time he took it out since a whole month. He doesn't really know how to take it out so be probably won't for a long time. So... For all you troll sprayers out there.... There is a t-Rex here.
