Wow this should have an adult content warning, good thing I don't get offended easily! (and technically I'm an adult)

Congratulations! I certainly hope I don't miss the baby pics. I miss too much around here.

Congrats Laurie! I don't know how I missed this thread. We agree that we all need more quads around. Now, if we could just get more WC quads in. :)

You know I'm still looking for an adult male. I've only got one, since I lost my other male, to breed with my two females. We need fresh blood. I can't believe that so many WC quads were shipped to the U.S. for so long (I first had them in the early to mid-90s), but that we have yet to establish a good captive hatched breeding population. It seems that as a group, we keepers are finally starting to figure things out and are having more and more "successes". I hope it's not too late to establish quads in captivity. So much has been learned about them over the years. It would be a shame if we couldn't get more WC quads since we seem to be on the brink of even more "successes". Of course, regularly raising the neonates to adulthood at optimum growth rates and producing multiple generations is a primary goal. Personally, I won't consider any of my good fortune as "successes" until I accomplish that goal. I just feel fortunate to be able to work with such amazing creations.

Does anyone know why the last imports from Cameroon did not contain quads? Was the overall quotas of quads met for the year or something? Did Europe get them all this time around? Just wondering.

Perry
