Oh you want it on a branch? That's even easier, make a Moss ball around it, and use some cocofiber husk (like the plant liners they sell at HD/Lowe's) and wrap it on top. Then just wrap flower wire (PVC coated green steel wire) tightly around it.
That will keep the Moss in place, and hold the plant until it develops it's own roots to hold on.

I am limiting my self to a Madgascar Lowland Biotype, but even then there is still a bunch of ferns and Angrecums I can and plan to put

Also, I wanted to put a Spotlight on a Plant I been wanting to incorporate into my Viv, and should be a Staple. I have been meaning to post about this somewhere and never found the right thread, this one seems fitting haha.
I was thinking about making a blog about this and a few other plants that have much greater use than just being pretty and adding shade. (I need to finish my lighting blog first lol)
Anyway, the Arcea Palm.
This thing is PERFECT for Cham Vivs. I know alot of folks have been doing the Naturalist Approach of fogging at night. This plant is a God send for that.
This plant is nature's Humidifier, NASAs clean air study found this thing can transpire a Quart of Water a day into the air at 6ft tall. (Not sure if they are including the pot)
It not only, cannot be Overwatered, it is a natural Coolmist Humidifier, that doesn't have bacterial issues. Idk for screen users but for solid sided enclosure people this might be able to take themplace of a fogger altogether. They say that having 2-3, of these is equivalent to a hot air humidifier in room. A quart of water a day, is alot for a plant.

Oh this particular Neps pitchers are not that big, they get about 4inches tall and 1 inch in diameter. But some do get large and it can be a concern.
There is one in Canada that was on my news feed the other day as eating 10% of the local salamander population every year. It's a serious predator.

I love plant people!! 
My green thumb is reasonably good, but I'm no expert. Im starting to venture into carnivorous plants, and have a modest collection in a spare 15g. Right now, I have a n. Spectabilis (not doing very well, and not recovering from shipping well... I may lose it
), n. Varicosa, n. Burkei, a Mexican butterwort of some denomination that I cant recall the name of, a common venus fly trap, and a cape sundew.

This is my passion lol. Im currently working on a bio active viv replica of the eastern lowland jungle biome of madagascar. Personally my favorite are the angraecum orchids. I also spent about 100$ on a couple liana vines. If i do it corectly I can grow more so I can have natural vine in my cham vivs.

We should exchange plant findings
. It's hard to find them, the Angrecums are easy, and a few of the common "House Plants" others prove difficult lol. Finding a Madgascar SP of A. Nidus has been a challenge, as was my Tublar Sword Fern (you could sub a Boston, and no one know but you, But I refused lol. Same with the A. Nidus)That's why I had to have the Madgascarensis, instead of any other Nep. Which sucks, as apparently Madgascarensis use to be popular in the hobby, but people had bad luck with them so they disappeared, and when they pop up they are pricey!
I have a good plant list resource, finding those plants proves difficult.

So my new seedling arrived!!
These guys were planted at the same time??? Confused. She planted 30 total, of those that grew, (17) 14 look like the small one, and 3 look like my new one, she said.
The size difference is insane. She said she doesn't know why. Could be a sex thing, this is a male, could be she got to osmocote these 3 sooner (she said she did) or it could be just stronger genes in these 3. But it dwarfs the other one. Dwarfs IT! It grew so big her T5s burned it lol.
I'm happy, would have been happier buying this one right off the bat, but I will see what happens with them overtime. Going to try to keep them both going, all though both won't stay in here for ever.
I'm going to plant the big one in the dirt, and the small one in the pot, and leave them side by side for now.

I know theyre Lasiobema, they look like scandens but I'll determine that when they get here. Last I checked anything in scandens were located only in SE Asia, Id love to be wrong. The idea is to get this look. (googled the image) Its hard to get exact data on this.
On a much smaller scale of course!

Nice I got some dead ones as branches in my Viv and mixed into the soil. I wanted to use mostly liana's but they are too hard to source in large pieces.

I knew eventually my luck would pay off. Going to Lowe's on shipment day for months.... Seen the right ones 1 time, and then never again.
And, got a nice little bonus!
X. Ventrata for 20 bucks. This one was for the wife for the kitchen window.
May use clippings on later Vivs where I am not super concerned with it being Madgascar SP, as it is a pretty Nep.

These are labeled by genus not class. (I think that's how you say it lol) they are labeled as Nidus (Birdsnest) that's the easy part, there is 4 different SP of Nidus, from different parts of the world. That ID just takes knowing the features.
One is this, sword like leaves, will get jetblack bottom stems when the rhizomes come in.
Another has a broad leaf structure, it more resembles a corn plant with really broad leaves.
1 is insanely wrinkly, but big wrinkles, like waves.
1 is super duper insanely wrinkly but just the edges like ruffles on a curtain.
All techinally A. Nidus, but with differing regions. This one is the Malagasy SP, which is also the one most commonly found in Florida.
As for SP of the Nep, I asked in the CP group, I am not that good with IDs of Neps yet.
This one has large pitchers. Ignore my dirty nails, I been digging in soil.

Oh then that may be the one I already have (and planned to mount). I thought it was just a regular old birds nest fern, but now i can pretend I planned it that way

Possible hard to tell. It's small
. So I was wrong, Lowe's did fudge this and list it as Asplenium.
But it does in this case say "Birdsnest" but I didn't need either, I knew what it was right off
. They like to plant them terrestrially, which is incorrect by situ, but it works. It's trying to readjust them, that's hard.
My really big one didn't do so well, it's adjusting now, but I had to remove like 3/4 of the leaves, partly from adjusting and partly because I left it outside for a couple of days and it got too hot, the leaves dried and they don't recover from that
. Then getting the mister adjusted for it's spot, which I ended up having to add 2 nozzles in the back in the end, which room awhile. So he got sacrificed for the greater good. Both the small and big one that were in the Viv, are still alive, and I will keep them, just they are in rough shape and it's going to take awhile for them to be viable for a Viv.
I'm replacing them with these 2, which are evenly sized too, which is cool.
