ambilobe trouble

I've had my blue bar ambilobe for about a year now (a year this month actually) but he seems to be getting progressively worse. my first concern is that his right eye is shut a lot of the time but his left isn't. the shut eye is slightly sunken in but he opens it all the time as if its fine but as soon as he stops moving for a little bit he closes it again. my next concern is he isnt really eating much at all, only about 3 or 4 crickets a day on a good day. i feed him crickets and get him silkworms when i can but dont really know of a good place to buy a wide variety of feeder insects that are safe as he wont even touch super worms so that limits my pet store selection to crickets. my next issue is his left arm on i guess what you would call his elbow. i just woke up one morning and happen to notice it had a black discoloration to it and im pretty convinced its a burn he got when i was moving. i know im probably doing some things wrong and thats why i came here. i love my leo very much and i just need some help from the more experienced cham keepers of the world. pictures posted also

I have an Ambilobe as well and his name is Leo too! The sunken eye is talked out a lot on the forums so I'm sure some one with more knowledge can help you out. For how long has the 3-4 crickets per day on a good day been going on for? Is he eating any worms at all, if so which ones?

He should be eating 11 crickets a day. How hot is your lamp? The black on the elbow looks like a burn to me, or a shedding problem because I see him shedding. I heard the eye can get dry, and not open. The vet is the best option for me. Fill out this: Chameleon Info:

Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

Cage Info:

Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
Location - Where are you geographically located?

Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about.

I didn't know how to post thread.
