Hi, I have a clutch of Ambilobe eggs that were laid by a wild caught female on 6/22. They spent the first 6 weeks at about 78 degrees and the second 6 weeks at 68 degrees. since then they are at 77 degrees. So, they have now been incubating for a total of 123 days. They are so big and "pink" that it is starting to look like they will be hatching very soon. Everything that I read says about 180 days for a short incubation. I assume that the 6 cool weeks did as intended, to break the diapause and shorten the time frame. I'm just wondering if anyone has had Panther eggs hatch much quicker than 180 days? I guess I better get the fruit fly cultures started!! Thanks.
