Ambilobe incubation length

Hi, I have a clutch of Ambilobe eggs that were laid by a wild caught female on 6/22. They spent the first 6 weeks at about 78 degrees and the second 6 weeks at 68 degrees. since then they are at 77 degrees. So, they have now been incubating for a total of 123 days. They are so big and "pink" that it is starting to look like they will be hatching very soon. Everything that I read says about 180 days for a short incubation. I assume that the 6 cool weeks did as intended, to break the diapause and shorten the time frame. I'm just wondering if anyone has had Panther eggs hatch much quicker than 180 days? I guess I better get the fruit fly cultures started!! Thanks.

Mulberry Farms is a great place for flightless Fruit Fly cultures, good luck to ya,
I have no idea how long incubation times are, i dont breed, but everything i have read makes it seem like forever

You'll definitely be staring at those eggs another 30 days at least before they start hatching.

I did have a baby hatch out at just under 5 months, didn't do well.
My next baby hatched at 7 months and all doing well after that.

They will take 7-10 months. Most of mine start hatching just shy of 8 months. At the 7 month mark. start your ff cultures. joshs frogs has a kit for just over 30bucks that will make more than enough. Myself I offer 1wk pinheads and fflys. It gives those picky eaters a choice. The biggest key to raising babies is humidity and hydration=mistking

Thanks. I've never hatched a Panther in less than 8 months, but I'd be real surprised if this clutch will take that long, based on the way they look already. Thanks again.

Thanks. I will stock up on the little feeders for sure, and keep them good and hydrated. Thanks again.
