I remembered to ask the breeder what species my Chameleon is.

It's great isn't it. Keith is still doing great. I had his poo sampled yesterday and the results came back clear, no parasites.
No should I worm or shouldn't I? No parasites no need to worm right?

Fyi furcifer pardalis is the species of your chameleon. Its locale is ambanja. That is the specific area on the island of Maddy where that particular type of of pardalis is commonly found. There are many diff locales but all locales are the same species.
And no there is no need to ever treat a cham with harmful meds unless its absolutely necessary. Sometimes the actual treatment is harder on the chameleon than the parasite. Thats why you want to wait after initial imports arrive for parasitic loads to drop back to down to treatable numbers. The dead parasites in the chameleons body can actually have devastating affects on a newly imported cham.
