I have a question about the bedding for the eggs would Hatchrite Incubation Bedding work good it already has the water mixed in with it or is the vermiculite bedding better.

I'm using Hatchrite for some veiled eggs right now, but you definitely have to check the Hatchrite every few weeks to make sure it keeps its moisture, because it does dry out. But, so far, I've been pretty happy with it. Good luck!

I have a bunch of eggs in different mediums. Some have all vermiculite, all hatchrite and some are 50-50 vermiculite and hatchrite.

The eggs are all the same age and the ones in the 50/50 are biggest, then hatchrite and the smallest is in the vermiculite.

Does anyone else have any final results like this since mine are still growing?

If you use vermiculite as i do, you add water to the point that you can take a small portion of it and squeeze out just a couple of drops of water. This is the advice I have been given when I started with my ambilobe eggs. Not too much water since this may cause the eggs to rupture prematurely.

You don't have to "premix" anything. It already as enough moisture in it to start them out. I check on them every couple of weeks and put my finger all the way down to the bottom of the container. If it doesn't seem like there is any moisture, I add water in the corners of the container and I take a very small funnel and put a very small amount of water between the eggs. Mine have been incubating for almost 2 months and they all seem very healthy.
