I was hoping to get a panther, I am going to be doing my custom build and I need a really good light setup. Can you buy anything on amazon that are the top brand? I need to know what is best light system out there. I know I keep seeing acadia?? Please direct me to best setup for panthers.

Thanks all

If I need to buy direct, I don't mind. I have a prime account its just easier. I need best you can get. I am going all out on build

I will have to get the dims. So I will just buy light your reptiles. But do I use 6% or 12% for a panther?

You can get light fixtures other places for less that are better and arcadia bulbs from pangea or reptile basics if you don't need the personal service Todd would give you. Without knowing the plants and cage selections hard to say which % to go with though. 48" plus in height and densely planted I use 12%, for 36" or below I use 6%.

Can you link me the best setup? For a panther and with plant light. I can always choose the size I just need the best setup

Maybe I'm mistaken, those light fixtures dont seem as nice as light your reptile? I want a dual for plant and USB. Unless there is better fixtures then LYR seems to be the best

I prefer to use these when I can https://www.hawthornegc.com/shop/product/sun-blaze-t5-ho-fluorescent-light-fixtures. For 3 ft fixtures I've switched to these since sunblaze doesn't make them in that size http://www.reptilebasics.com/t5-light-fixtures/. For plants that are excessively light needy I use these https://www.amazon.com/Swimming-Rep...pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=led+pool+bulb.

You can use the Hawthorne ok for chameleon? The humidity and such?

So then I would just have to buy the bulbs?

The power and everything match up?

The dual should be plenty wouldn't you say or is there a benefit to more?

Yes, just by the arcadia bulb seperate. The sunblaze comes preloaded with 6500k bulbs so swap one out for the arcadia and save the other for 10 or so months later to swap the old 6500k out. The warranty and reflector are above and beyond better then the odyssea fixtue. The sunblaze fixtures are also available on Amazon.

Genius! Thank you sir, I will buy them then. I have a big build coming up, finally got the armoire its gorgeous. Keep a look out I'm trying to build something insane. I been putting this off for years and I'm finally ready to do this. Thanks for your help and everyone else as well. I will be posting pics soon

I bought the sunblaze double lamp and I love it! Took my recommendations from @dshuld. He knows his stuff!

I'm happy you're happy with it :). Wish they were "prettier" like their old aquarium line (tek) was but for the price, I'm not complaining since they are a quality product.

I think they look pretty nice really. They certainly don't get hot
