Am i dusting them right?

Hey guys.. so i couldnt find calcium without d3 in powder at my local petsmart.. so i bought some spray that the sales associate told me i could use.. but the problem was tht some (most) of the crickets/roaches would drown. !?$%# so i got the powder now but i dont know if im dusting them correctly. i put like 4 crickets in a bag w/ a little bit of powder and i shake n bake! but the powder isnt sticking to them.. or atleast not that i can see.. is this normal? or am i doing it wrong.?

It's really better if they are not "white"...but maybe you might want to add a bit more to the bag. It's hard to get to "too much" but it's really easy to get to "too little" so err on the side of more.

Some powders do stick better then others.
What brand are you using?

Repashy calcium plus sticks very well, so you can use less, and it smells like oatmeal/raisen cookies
