Oh and when he gets about a year old or maybe even 8 months you should move him up to a 24"x24"x48", but the bigger the better! :) Jackson's tend to be slightly smaller than veileds so that's why I say this.

It seems a little small, he should be in at least a 36" tall cage. Other than that looks pretty nice! How do you take care of him? (Supplementation, humidity and temp levels, etc.)
Haha yeah I figured it was a little small for him. I'll take your advice and invest in bigger terrarium. Well right now he's eating about 3-5 silk worms a day. His temp ranges from 70-80F degrees and his humidity levels range from 60-90. Thanks for for all your help!

yeah needs horizontal branch across the enclosure up neat the top to bask on imo.

Are those his basking temps? I will agree with the others and say he needs a basking perch. His ambient temps should be 65-75 at highest. Humidity looks wonderful. How are you supplementing?

Basking branch...got it. I'll get on that right away. Yes, those are his basking temps. is that too high? it usually never gets hotter than 75 in there. I have the Herbtivite and a calcium with D3. I lightly dust his food with calcium daily, and use the Herbtivite twice a week. What would you suggest? and what insects would you suggest to buy that would be the most beneficial? So far he's only had silk worms.

Hello,

Please see my PM for details in regards to your questions. Additional info from your questions on this post.......The temps are fine. Jackson's do not like to be much above 80 in their basking spot. They also like a good 10 degree drop at night. Lots of horizontal branches would be great. Be careful not to over supplement as Jackson's need less than other chameleons. See my PM for my schedule. The D3 schedule will also depend on whether or not you ever take him out in the sunshine. We try to take Rex out at least once a week for a couple hours. Another good resource is Miss Lily and her cute Jackson Monty. If I didn't answer everything in the PM you might also want to look at her posts. I think her supplement schedule matches mine as well.

I forgot to mention along with everything I sent you in the PM that we use a little dripper that drips on to a plant as well.

I don't know much about supplementing with Jackson's... I'm trying to figure that out for the small possiblitly of me getting a female. The basking temps are fine. You can feed a wide variety of insects to your Jackson's...
-Crickets
-Superworms
-Silkworms
-Hornworms
-Butterworms
-Pheonix Worms
-Dubia Roaches
-OCCASIONAL Waxworms
-Snails
-Slugs
+Many, many more that I cannot name. But the most bennificial would be crickets, silkworms, and dubias. Hope this helps ;)
