Aloe Vera as an enclosure plant?

I've done a few searches, and it comes up on the forum as a "safe" plant in a few posts. Has anyone used it, and is there any reason why I shouldn't? I have one that would fit in my enclosure's magnatural perfectly, but before I put it in I wanted to make sure the serrated leaves wouldn't pose a hazard.

Definitely safe!

My tortoises eat it. I tried it once and it was terrible tasting. Not sure why they like it, but they do!

Excellent! Thank you, I'm going to put it in right now. :) I had it on the entertainment center and knocked the darn thing over 4 times. It'll be safer in the cage. LOL
