Almost 30 days later...

Still no eggs. I posted a awhile back about my 9 month old female veiled chameleon. No one quite gave me a solid idea of how long I should waiting for her to lay. The vet did say she could see uncalcified eggs and told me to come back if she hadn't laid in 30 days. Well we are approaching that time and for the last 3 weeks I have been keeping her caged covered only interrupting in the morning for food and once or twice in the day for a very heavy misting. She hasn't been eating much in the last 3 weeks and I am worried because she is starting to look thin. I don't know what else I can do to help or make sure she is safe. She is looking funny, I have attached a picture. Please Help! Any advice would be awesome. Thanks.

Don't know what you mean by "she's been looking funny", t he picture doesn't show much. The concave look to her midsection and her color doesn't look like she's gravid. More better pictures would be a help. She still looks like she's mostly green, not dark gravid colors. If she wants to lay eggs, she would cut down or quit eating, and start pacing around the bottom of the cage looking for a suitable place to lay eggs. Chameleons can carry uncalcified eggs for longer than a month. Did she ever color up indicating a receptive period? That would be the time I would start counting the 30 days. Some females that aren't bred can wait up to a year before they lay infertile eggs.

She is pacing she is sitting low in the cage frequently she seems very restless. She definitely had receptive colors. By "looking funny" I mean fat but has the concave areas at times. She is going to the bottom of the cage and sitting on the side of the dirt bin I made for her. She has cut down on food big time and is super cranky recently, as in looking at her makes her hiss and puff up. Here is a picture of her bright colors I believe to indicate her receptive period.
