So any one who has questions on this please go to my other threadd to read a lil more info about her , i posted this one yesturday Make sure to read the comments because within a hour or two things drastically changed.

So i gave alexa some liquid calcium today and water, and tried feeding her some crickets.. she wouldn't eat a whole one so i crushed some up with powder calcium, water and fed a bit to her through a syringe, but she didn't seem comfortable with it and tried getting away.. Last night she slept in the little 'hammack' i made her (I put a dry facecloth over some branches and vines so she could lay and be a bit more comfy).. i can't believe how fast things got bad! One day shes walking fine and the next she's weak and had no gripp..

Her colors are REALLY showing, they've never been like this before she's usually lime green, past 2 days she's had lots of tinges of blue, yesturday she was turning almost orange (like the facecloth) ,and today i put her in her laying bin and she went dark green stripes! So i think maybe this a way of telling me "Hey i gotta lay" so i put the lights towards the laying bin and made sure she was still gonna get her uvb light, ( i got pictures of the setup) and then i gave her her space.. about half hour ago i peeked in on her and she had her butt in the pre-dugg whole i made for her! she's way to weak to digg IMHO, but she was moving around in the laying binn.. However i know people say you should put a vine or a ramp in the laying bin so your cham can make it to their cage when their done but i didn't because the condition alexas in i'm too scared she is going to fall! .. sooo maaaybe by tonight i might have some suprise eggs :O .. i hope that's whats been up with her attitude

i just went and looked at her and she's sleeping in her laying bin? is that normal.. probably not i'm guessing..

actually ya, i think it is just to bright on her eyes, it's probably the uvb, i couldn't find anything to support it on so i had to improvize..
P.S she's got MBD, sorry left that out ,that's why i attached that other thread that's why i give her TREX Bone aid

i woudl try jsut moving the lights farther away and see what happeens.
usually they arent actually sleeping, but just have the eyes closed to blcok the lights.

I'll be crossing my fingers...one thing: that pilot hole you made for her. It looks a bit deep and straight down. Maybe it's just the camera angle. The hole should really be at an angle so she can crawl into it easily.

You need to take her to a vet. I drive 4 hrs. to get to a decent vet.
Not trying to be mean, but the time you are on here with everyone speculating what is going on, you could be saving her life. Good Luck!

yea it iss on a angle sorta, shes hanging around the top of it with her butt in the tunnell, does that usually mean they're gonna lay? cause i never put her in the whole i had her on the side where it's a flat surface, and she moved and backed her but in itt i guess lol.. She should be skinny if she laid right? i took a peek.. i know your not soposed to look (i wish i had a spy cam lmao) .. when i did peek ,she started turning striped and dark like the picture attached, does that mean she dosn't wanna be bothered, cause she didn't do that when i would take her out of her cage.. Input... who thinks shes gonna lay ?

that may mean she IS laying..dont bug her or she will abandon the site!!..and you will have to start over again, and if she wont lay become egg bound..its sucks..so let her do her thing, let her be..i give my females a whole day before i bother them again (like just before bed )

here is the whole process in a time lapse of my female..

holly thats nutss, how long does it usually take to lay them?? i don't think mine has layed hers yet cause she hasn't started covering the whole , although she may be too weak too cover the hole.. when i went to go shut off the lights she still had her but in the hole i tried to peek but no sign of eggs, so i left her in theree & hopefully try again tomoro.. will there be any physical signs i should be able to see on her if she layed?

She should be skinny. She'll be ready to get away from the hole. You should be able to sift through looking for eggs.

At this point she needs as much calcium as you can get into her and lots and lots of water.

well she's sleeping in her bin , i didn't wanna take her out just incase, so i shut off her light and she's snoozzin away, i'm gonna leave her in there all day tomoro and hopefully i get something, i can't be crazy ! there must be a reason she's got her but in the hole right!? lol & i will Elizadots! I've been giving her water everyday lately to make sure she's getting it

she's skinny but still got her but in the hole? it looked like she was sleeping in the whole , i've given her her space, but everytime i peek she turns gravid colors like the picture , so does that meean she did or she didnt

It sounds like she's trying to lay but it's not going particularly well...hopefully she can get through it. I'm very worried about her.
