Does anyone have any experiences to share about the taking a baby cham through a RSA checkpoint at the Airport? Please share if you have done this.

What airport? where is your destination & what airline ? my husband has done it but he has chameleons as service animals. PM me your email & my husband will email you

I want to know this too. one how to get throuch customs, from say england to the US ;)

and two- a service animal!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?

My husband was diagnosed with ptsd from his military days & instead of his shrink putting him on meds since being around chams seemed to help just decided to certify our chameleons as service animals so recently we had been looking for a female sub adult veiled with no sucess here & while on a business trip he found one in Indiana & flew it home with him. TSA was tickled by seeing a cham go through TSA

That's very cool! Chameleons do have a very calming effect. But, I couldn't get the picture out of my head of a Chameleon wearing a little backpack. :D

Going through customs and getting past airport are different. Customs requires CITES documents. And if you want to spend money and do paperwork go for it.

Taking something past airport security that is not illegal is one thing (it is the airlines that don't want chams, not security) they just screen for airlines, but bringing one back from England is breaking the law big time.
