Air Plants

Has anyone tried air plants in their enclosure? I couldn't find anything in the plant section.

I have some in my smaller enclosure. They look cool. Got them at a reptile show. They aren't like the ones you see in stores.

I went nuts for air plants awhile ago and was able to find a large selection and good deals for them on Ebay.

Has anyone tried air plants in their enclosure? I couldn't find anything in the plant section.

Small ones could be damaged or dislodged if the cham climbs on them. Also, you need to mist them with de-mineralized or distilled water only or their pores get clogged. This will kill the plant. If you already use demineralized or distilled water to mist your cage that would be OK, but plain tap water or water that has been treated for something (like ReptiSafe) that gets on the airplant could be a problem.
