Air Conditioning

Hi !

Im afraid of making my Veiled Chameleon too cold. is it okay to have the air conditioner on? or is it going to make the Chameleon too cold?

My ac runs, and my guys dont get cold.

basking temp might drop a bit. but you can just close the vent near him and he should be fine.

but monitor the temps.

Just monitor the temperature in the chameleon room, and more specifically in the cage. With an appropriate watt basking light, and perhaps by covering three sides of the cage if needed, it should be fine.

Hello I'm an hvac tech it should have a considerable drop in temp unless the vent is right under the cage but other than that the ac should keep the room at your desired temp
