Is it ok if i place the cage near the air conditioner ?
it wont hit the cage directly, the cage will be under the AC a little behind it!
can the ac harm chams?

You would have to check your temps there with the cage where you are going to put it. It may affect the bottom by a degree. Most air coming out is about 55 degrees which could be a problem which is why I said check temps with the cage in place with lights on. You def don't want the air blowing on the cham or inside the cage. If its a return vent you're fine. Also be sure to check temps at night if ac runs make sure its not getting too cold. Other than that your ac should just keep room temperature unless the vent is coming from the ceiling and blowing into cage which I would not recommend. Someone else might recommend not putting it by a vent at all. I would just check your temps first.

Considering that your temps are hitting 90f then i think your cham with write you a thank you note for the air conditioner.:) Go for it.

Using an AC will dry out the air in the room, so you'll need to keep a closer watch on the cage humidity. The chilled air will tend to sink, so make sure it isn't pouring into the cage (if the AC unit is located above the cage). When the AC compressor cycles and the air coming out of it is colder, it could create temperature swings in the cage, but you would have to test this yourself.

I think I'l put a towel or some sort of barrier on the side of the cage nearest the AC vent to buffer the air flow.

well i tested the temps today where i would like to put the cage and there were like 75-77 .and where the cage is right now there is like 85 F. Both places with Ac on.
he is very grumpy all day ,damn its so hot !
in the day it can hit 88-92.even with AC going on its 88-90 becose the sun hits directly the room.
should i just leave the cage where it is with the constant 85F-88F with ac on and no basking bulb? or should i go with the place i was thinking with the 75-77F ?is 75 -77 to low for day temps? should i aim 80F ?
he is very disorientated without his basking bulb on.
tomorrow i will place the cage near the Ac and see how he is doing and get some pics so you guys tell me what do you think .
plus he is dark all day , walks the bottom of the cage, walks all over the cage, saw him once or twice with mouth open and today his urates had a bit of orange in it .

tnx for the advice all of you

I think I'd move the cage to the 75-77 degree area and use your basking bulb for a few hours in the morning. Use a timer to turn it off during the hottest part of the day when he doesn't really need it. By that time your UV light should be on giving him general light. It is probably safer for him to have a cooler room as long as he has a place to warm up if he wants to. Try this and see.

tnx for your fast response, i will go for it and see how it works.i guess he will be fine if the AC wont hit directly the cage and i get the right temps and humidity.

ok so i moved the cage.his colors are back ! he looks more happy :D !
now he has 86-88 at basking spot and 77-79 room temperature !
the AC blows like 12 inch higher than the cage ! what do you think is 12 inch ok?
the air that the ac blows wont hit the cage!
here are some pics and tell me what you think ! thanks all

Ah I didn't know you had a mini split system this could be a problem and yes the cold drier air could affect humidity but you're saying temps and humidity seem to be staying put. I would just keep an eye on it for a couple days especially at night it might get pretty cold for your cham. Can you redirect the vent any?

my humidity is very high without AC like 60-70% night and day !
with ac 45-50% constant - so humidity is not the problem.
well since the cage is below the ac , i can redirect almost so it can hit the ceiling.
i can keep constant temps of 77-78 with the ac during day and night !
but i will check more often to see how it goes !

Well the cold air will still sink and ma affect your energy.costs. I would probably atleast get some light fabric like the cage in my picture and put it on that right side so the air doesn't get into the cage too much.
