What age will the Veiled Chameleons be ready for breeding? What is some of the signs they will show? Does the male show first or is it all up to the female.

It is a good idea to wait to one year for male and 12-14 months for female. The male can breed at six months, however it is stressful. The female could breed as early also, but with devistating consequences. The more they breed the quicker they will pass. Any stress.your chams experience will definitely affect them, that is why you hear so much about it. Her egg production will rob her bones of vital calcium it takes to grow and minerals from her tissues. PLEASE wait. Much better to enjoy something later and longer, than for it to be a memory. look at it this way: would you rather have vacationed for a weekend or a week with more money.
